Fire Chief

Luke Wagner was sworn into office as the new Fire Chief in front of staff, family, and friends at the June 10, 2025, regular board meeting. Chief Wagner began his career as a Paid Call Firefighter in 2003. Since then, he has moved up the ranks in the Big Bear Valley as a full time Firefighter, Engineer, Captain, Battalion Chief, Assistant Fire Chief/ Fire Marshal, and now Fire Chief of the Big Bear Fire Authority.
